For MPs and Peers

Why join The All Party Parliamentary Group on HIV and AIDS?

What we can do for you:

1) Keep you up to date with HIV and AIDS in the UK and internationally.

2) Highlight easy ways you can make a difference and provide a respected platform for the work you want to do.

3) Provide one to one briefings on HIV in your constituency on request, or answer questions over the phone.

4) Give you the chance to meet inspirational people, whether it’s a young person dealing with HIV in their every day life or the head of an international agency campaigning to end mother to child transmission.

What you can do for us:
We understand that MPs and peers are busy people and will have lots of differing and specific interests, so Members are welcome to get involved as and when they can. The key ways you can help are:

1) Meeting constituents living with HIV and/or campaigning on HIV

2) Talking about HIV on the floor of the House or in Committees

3) Meeting or writing to Ministers

4) Participating in inquiries

5) Tabling questions
